This exciting coworking environment spent many years going toe-to-toe with WeWork. The Yard provides a similar environment to WeWork but much less of the corporate branding that players like WeWork exude over their members. For companies that aren’t interested in WeWork’s branding dominating over them, The Yard could be a much better option. 

This coworking location provides month-to-month membership and private office Suites. The location is 3 minutes from Penn Station and 1 minute from the Path Train. The building itself is only 5 years old. The most unique feature about this space are the 20 foot ceiling heights. Offices also have a unique bi-level design which allows more light to flow through and allows the tenants in the interior to have the feel of a windowed office.

The location has been in operation for about 5 years. When first opened, the offices leased extremely quickly. Prospective tenants were drawn to the community building events, rotating artwork and extremely unique design. This coworking location has one of the most unique layouts in New York City and is definitely worth touring. 

Neighbors

The Yard also happens to be directly below Golf  & Body, the city’s only indoor country club and the Continental Apartment Building, a high-end apartment building that is a 2 minute walk from Penn Station. Shopping in this area has also improved dramatically. A Nordstrom Rack has opened across the street and one New York City’s most famous bagel purveyors, Essa Bagles, is right outside. The iconic, Jack’s discount store is also right below as well. Of course, Korea town is a 2 minute walk away and the countless super trendy hotels such as the Virgin Hotel and Ace Hotel are around the corner and a great spot to pick up a drink.
