MediaMath’s Search to Rent Dramatic NYC Office Space

Like many other successful tech companies, MediaMath transitioned from several office spaces before arriving at their existing location at 4 World Trade.  In 2007, MediaMath had its humble beginnings in at a hum drum, second generation office space they had rented on Madison Avenue in Midtown Manhattan. As a fledgling start up, MM was focused on cost, convenience and flexibility.  However, it was obvious from the beginning that MM would not stay in their dark and drab office space for too long. MediaMath’s proprietary technology and seasoned management was a potent combination to fuel their explosive growth.

In 2013, it became obvious, it was time for them to rent an office space that was uniquely their own. With the help of the real estate broker and their architect Verona Carpenter, they were equipped to begin their office search.  After an intensive search for buildings with large floor plates that could accommodate 75,000 SF, MM determined that the options for spaces of this size was severely limited in Hudson Square and Chelsea. It would have been ideal to be closer to google, but MediaMath eventually decided to lease 2 floors at 4 World Trade. In the end, their office space search was a huge success. MediaMath’s 75,000 sf office space serves to accommodate and inspire their over 500 employees. Designed by the architectural firm Verona Carpenter, and according to Verona’s website, the purpose  “was to create a kind of calm hive – organized and welcoming, buzzing with thought and activity, allowing for intense, detail-oriented work.”

The MediaMath New York office space is modern, sophisticated, and original. The walls of windows in the reception and in most of the rooms are stunning.The interior feels spacious and you will find soft seating spread throughout the space that fosters serendipitous interactions and collaboration. You can choose to sit on a bar chair, an armchair, or even a sofa. The wide open space provides a great place for you to collaborate with your colleagues, and even provides areas of privacy. The MediaMath office space even comes equipped with a screening room that could be great for an office get together, or a business conference. Building Location

Located in the World Trade Center, this modern space will give you some of the most spectacular views in Manhattan.  Since its close to Fulton Station, it provides access to a plethora of subway lines making it easily accessible to Brooklyn, the East Side as well the West Side. The closest subway stations, which are within a 2-5 minute walk are the A,C,E,R,W,4,5.
