The Next Office You Rent Should Look Like This

The Next Office You Rent Should Look Like This

Introduction

Do you want the next office space you rent in Manhattan or anywhere for that matter, to look like this? You can’t imagine anything like this in NYC, can you?

Don’t just be amazed by these photos. The next office space you rent can look like this if you assemble the perfect team, including a great NYC real estate broker and a great architect.

One of World’s most Zen Workspaces

Founded on the belief that humans function optimally when in nature, Our Space blurs the barriers between inside and out to inspire human connections, the free exchange of ideas, and wellness. This is a new way to work, one that considers the whole human being as an integral part of the building’s ecosystem.

Built on three pillars, Our Space sits at the intersection of humans, habitat, and technology. Though each location offers premium services such as a concierge reception, 24/7 access via thumbprint, fast internet connections, and onsite I.T. support, they have also carefully considered each person’s physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual needs. Their wellness efforts extend beyond the nature-infused setting with free yoga, massage, and bike share. Additionally, each office features a zen room for relaxing and a tantrum room for those moments when loud self-expression is a necessity.

To bring their vision to life, Our Space hired March Studio, an architectural firm established by an architect and an advertising executive. March Studio goes beyond thoughtfully designed, inspirational architecture and turns brands into living, 3D experiences. For Our Space, they collaborated with Carlos Barbosa, an architect and Emmy-nominated production designer, and worked with the concept of biophilia, relying extensively on natural materials and featuring a prolific use of plants. Coworkers have their choice of shared desks, private offices, and meeting rooms and can even rent virtual space, although considering how lush and lovely each property is, it’s difficult to imagine not wanting to spend the day.

Our Space has plans to launch in Miami, Hong Kong, Leeds, and Manchester, and is currently open in Marbella, Spain, and Dubai, U.A.E. Read on for a look inside each thoughtfully crafted coworking space.

Marbella, Spain

A two-minute walk from the magnificent Costa del Sol, from which the name Marbella was likely inspired, Our Space Marbella is 6,500 square feet of intentionality, designed to serve the city’s burgeoning entrepreneurial scene. Located on the Golden Mile, this location offers incredible views of La Concha mountain and close proximity to everything one would need for a productive day, including hotels, restaurants, and other amenities.

Upon entry, guests are greeted by a spacious, bright reception area, and surrounded by living walls that feature a wide array of flora. A massive hanging planter makes the place feel like a curated jungle. This atmosphere extends throughout the building, from the private offices to the shared hot desks. A kitchen featuring unlimited coffee, tea, and soft drinks makes it easy to take breaks, and the calming yet stimulating environment creates balance.

Dubai, U.A.E.

Located in the prestigious Lamborghini building, Our Space Dubai is 22,000 square feet and overlooks Burj Al Arab, an architectural masterpiece, and Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest tower. The reception area includes Our Space’s signature greenery and an understated, calming water feature set against a mixture of light and dark wood. An abundance of natural light filters through the breezy, open environment.

In what some have called the world’s most innovative city, coworkers are immediately swept into an oasis — some nooks even feel like they’re in the treetops. Offices are divided by glass, which keeps the feeling connected throughout yet provides the requisite privacy. There are also soundproof booths available to take meetings and an onsite spa with all the treatments one could want. Verde Cafe, which provides health-promoting food catered by an award-winning company, rounds out the offering.
